ADDITIONAL PROJECT INFORMATION
- YARTS will provide free transportation on YARTS (in the form of redeemable vouchers) to students enrolled in a college or university beginning May 1st 2026, through December 31, 2026, or until funding for this project has been exhausted, whichever comes first.
- YARTS buses are ADA accessible.
- Those without access to the internet or email may apply in-person, with proof of residency & enrollment, at the YARTS Administration office: 357 W. 18th Street, Merced, CA 95340.
- For assistance over the phone, please contact YARTS Administrative Staff at 209-723-3100.
- Eligible participants will be emailed a voucher that can be used to make a reservation online, via the YARTS website, www.YARTS.com.
- Vouchers will not be accepted if presented on the bus – please use the YARTS reservation system to reserve your seat.
- Each voucher code may only be used once and only one voucher code may be used per transaction.
- Ticket vouchers will be distributed based on available funding and in the order of which they are received.
- Please see the YARTS Refund Policy for cancellation requirements.
- Cancellations will not be provided a monetary refund.
- YARTS is not liable for lost or stolen vouchers.
- This project is made possible by funding from the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP). This project begins May 1st, 2026, and will end on December 31, 2026, or when funding has been exhausted – whichever comes first.
