APPLICATION FOR ONE (1) FREE ROUND-TRIP TICKET VOUCHER

Merced and Mariposa County residents may receive up to one (1) free adult round-trip ticket per resident.
Please submit this completed form WITH proof of residency.
Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png, pdf, Max. file size: 10 MB.
Each adult ticket may include one (1) free ticket for a child 0-5 years of age, and one (1) free ticket for a child 6-12 years of age.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Cancellations will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  • YARTS is not liable for lost or stolen voucher information.
  • YARTS buses are ADA accessible.
  • Applicant must be a resident of Merced or Mariposa County.
  • One free round-trip ticket voucher will be issued to each resident that applies:
    • 18 years of age and older
      • Children 0-5 ride for free*.
      • One free child 6yrs-12yrs with each paid adult fare*.
      • Each additional child 6yrs-12yrs pays a reduced fare price.
    • Residents 13yrs-17yrs may apply separately– must provide proof of residency

    *Reservation system/transaction fees may apply.

  • All applicants must submit proof of address (government issued identification, utility bill, etc.) to verify residency.
  • Those without access to the internet or email may apply in-person, with proof of residency, at the YARTS Administration office: 357 W. 18th Street, Merced, CA 95340.
  • No physical tickets will be issued.
  • Eligible participants will be emailed a coupon code that can be used to make a reservation online, via the YARTS website, www.YARTS.com. Vouchers will not be accepted if presented on the bus.
  • Each coupon code may only be used once and only one coupon code may be used per transaction
  • Coupon codes will be distributed based on available funding and in the order of which they are received – one per resident.

  • This program is made possible by funding from the Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP). The program will end when all coupon codes have been issued and/or funding has been exhausted. Quantities are limited.
