Familiarize yourself fully with the correct schedule for
your trip. Hopefully it will have all of the information
you need to make your trip problem free and enjoyable. (We
recommend that you print a copy of the schedule to take along
on your trip, if you can.)

Identify the route your starting point lies along (or is
close to). If you are uncertain about exactly which community
you are in, ask your lodging provider or a local resident.

Identify the stop(s) closest to your location. If you
are unsure, again, please check with a lodging provider or a
local resident.
NOTE:
On
Highway 140, the schedule varies on weekends. Please be sure
you are taking that into account. Both schedules show
inbound and outbound routes (to and from Yosemite). Please
be sure you are selecting the direction of travel that fits
your needs. Times listed on the schedule are departure
times. You should be at the bus stop prior to the
indicated departure time.
Round
trip tickets are issued with two parts. When you board the
bus, the driver takes one side and returns the remainder to
you. It is important that you keep the return ticket in a safe
place. YARTS is not responsible for lost tickets. Tickets are
destination specific, (i.e. - from Mariposa to Yosemite). It
is possible to travel beyond the specific location on the
ticket by paying the difference to the driver, if you wish to
go further. It is also possible to get off the bus during the
trip and board a different, later bus, if you want to make
stops along the way. Have the driver provide you with a
transfer ticket if you decide to exit the bus mid-trip.
One-way
tickets are available as well. On Highway 140, the one way
ticket is 1/2 the regular price. On Highway 120 East, one-way
ticket prices are shown on the schedule.
