The Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System - Public Transit to Yosemite

 

 

Since it began operating in May of 2000, the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System, YARTS, has provided an alternative to driving to over 515,000 riders traveling in the Yosemite Region. With YARTS now in its 12th year, the number of new riders continues to grow and we hope you will become one of them.

 

We say, “Watch the scenery, not the road”. Take away the challenge and stress of driving and the beauty of the trip comes into full focus. Many riders who have been to Yosemite before have told us that they have seen something for the first time while riding on YARTS buses.

 

We hope you will consider using YARTS for your trip to the Yosemite region. It will let you make the trip to Yosemite part of the pleasure of going.
